Re: Hillier freed after turning himself in to cops, March 29

I’m not a big fan of MPP Randy Hillier, but I respect the man who stands up for freedom. These charges against him are just another way the state demonizes the trucking convoy.
However, the grand plan is to deter future peons from staging further protests against Mr. Freeze. Scare tactics are part and parcel of a government that does not believe in true democracy, human rights and values unless those values match its ideology. Unfortunately, our law enforcement agencies no longer act independently; they are just tools of the establishment.

THE POLICE GOING OVER
Ottawa police were totally embarrassed by the truckers and their alleged leaders and as a result are now going too far to charge anyone involved in any way.

The cost will be in the millions for what? The mayor has denounced all the misdeeds of the truckers and says the rest of the country should pay the expenses incurred in paying the police to stand by and do nothing. With a few hundred police, they could have started clearing parked vehicles in the first week, but they did nothing.
The City of Ottawa is responsible for all costs because the chiefs of police it supported are responsible for this debacle.

AT THE TROUGH
All the talk leading up to April 1st was about Justin Trudeau raising the carbon tax yet again. Big mistake! The most important and devastating event was the increase in his salary and that of the members of the government – for the third time since the beginning of the COVID-19! Obviously he needs the extra carbon tax to pay for that. The pay raise is his way of padding himself and his incompetent politician an even bigger pension in perpetuity, costing Canadians inferior military, medicine, education, etc.

HAVE WE LOST IT?
We watch daily as Russia, under Vladimir Putin, invades, destroys a country, kills its citizens, and yet the world reacts to Joe Biden’s remark that Putin should be removed from office. Have we lost all sense of justice these days?

SEE IT FOR THE FALSE THAT IT IS
Justin Trudeau, the savior of democracies — never. Trudeau goes to Europe. He preaches to Members of the European Parliament on the benefits of democracies. The problem is that he did the exact opposite with the truckers. Fortunately, several members of the European Parliament have seen through the fake that is Trudeau (and criticized him harshly).
Even some Liberal MPs disapprove of the deal with the NDP to support the Liberals. According to The Hill Times, Trudeau and his cabinet did not consult the Liberal caucus in this decision. The NDP, on the other hand, let its MPs vote. A disgruntled Liberal MP said: “But this is how our government has behaved since 2015.”
Trudeau still practices his favorite motto: Do as I say, not as I do.
